We are searching for my husband's brother, John Stansfield, born in 1950-1951 in Paterson, New Jersey. John was the 6th of 7 children who were all sent to an orphanage in 1952 after their mother died. The other 6 have been found; we are still looking for John. He was adopted, so may not know his birth surname. We do not know his adoptive surname. The older siblings thought that John was adopted by a nurse and doctor, but that may be only rumor. There is a strong family resemblance among the other sons to their paternal grandfather (see attached photo of him); we don't know if there is with John.
