Trying to find what happened to David and his wife Maartje (Margaret) Gibe/Gibbie/Giebie. They both arrived in NJ in 1853 with their son Abraham. In the 1860 Passaic County, NJ census Abraham and his family are there with his mother, but David is not there. Can someone find a death record for David? In the 1870 census, Abraham and family are in Michigan, his mother is not there. Did she also die in NJ or did she move to MI and die there before the census? Can someone help me find out? Thanks!
