Seeking information about John Lisk born 2/15/1756 Somerset County. Need more information on wife Mary Brown and their son James Lisk born 4/21/1791. Trying to document John 1756 to son James 1791 who married Eleanor Brands and had a son James born Dec 3 1819 who was married to Susan Ann Thornton. Can trace/document myself up thru Charles Lisk born 3/27/1856 (son of James born 1819) but need Charles' link to James 1819 -> James 1791 -> John 1756 for DAR app. This line seems elusive and I come up with nothing. Any suggestions on where I can find birth/marriage/baptismal info? John (1756) is believed to have been baptized at the Dutch Reformed Church in NJ. Anyone come from this line or have suggestions on where to get info in NJ? Any help appreciated.
