My great, great grandfather and his wife lived most of their married lives in Sussex County. According to a family bible, Jacob Holden was born July 7, 1816 in New York City. His wife, Rebecca Mann, was born March 22, 1815 in Vernon, Sussex County. Her parents were Ahijah Mann and Mary Conklin. Jacob and Rebecca had six sons (according to the bible) Ahijah, Jacob Henry, Russel, Joshua, Benjamin and Stephen. I've traced Steven to California, Joshua became a minister on Long Island, Russel and Benjamin died young and Jacob Henry (my grandfather) is buried with his parents in Deckertown Union Cemetery. Even though I have a copy of Jacob's death certificate his parents names are blank. Is there any information in your book? Thanks.
