I have done extensive research into the Hamler family of northern New Jersey and Pennsylvania. These people are my Great-Grandfather's siblings, of which there are 9 (now possibly 10) children. They were born between 1833 to 1850 in Sussex Co., NJ. And now I have, out of the blue, and in two obituaries, found a sibling of theirs, called "Lenora Laller" (as an adult). In 1911, she was listed as a living sibling of the deceased James Hamler.
This is very confusing to me as she has appeared now in two obituaries as a sibling, name spelled the same.
None of the other siblings have a name or known middle name that explains how they might be called "Lenora." Plus the siblings are mostly male. Only two females grew to adulthood: Gehila/Jehila Hamler, b. 1830, NJ and Sarah R. Hamler, b. 1838, NJ.
I would appreciate any insight or help...
