The NJ Marriage index found on familysearch notes the marriage on Sept 17 1885 of Fannie M. Guion to Edw. H. Guion. Fannie Guion is also listed in 1885 NJ Census living in Linden with (what I know to be) her mother, Josephine Guion.
Are these marriage records in original form anywhere that might list full names, signatures, witnesses, presider, etc?
Where might I find any newspaper announcements or other record of this marriage? The groom's name being identical to the bride is unusual, and I'd like to confirm the groom's identity. (She later remarried and never confirmed this first husband's name.)
Also, sources from Fannie's later life indicate she married very young (young teens) to her music teacher. Was there a music school/girls boarding school in Linden/Roselle in 1885?
