No John C. or J C Johnson. Only one John Johnson:
John G. Johnson to Lydia J. Taylor 10 Feb 1830 by Rev. H. W. Hunt, Jr. p. 83.
Note: Warren County was formed from Sussex Co. in 1824.
I looked briefly at some 1850 census entries for your Johnsons in Oakland Co. MI. I note that Vincent was living in OXFORD Township. (named for NJ home I guess). Lots of familiar OXFORD Township NJ names nearby: Transue, Lommason, Farnsworth. Also some Stiff families in another township.
I did a lot of Warren Co. research in the past, but now live in Kentucky, so no longer have access to NJ resources.
