Looking for information or leads on my GGGG grandfather Aaron Sweezey (swazey) , Loyalist came to st John NB, Canada in 1783. Local information which I feel may be unreliable shows him as being born in Hope NJ
grandson of Judge Samuel Swazey (spelling)and his father as Barnabes swazey who died in Hope NJ in 1779. We have no proof or viable leads on our Aaron. Some theorys show him as actually named Asa. Born in or around 1745/46/47.We know his wife was named Mary and he lost land in Bergen county after the revolution
