I could not find a Sophie Sudol born in 1902 in the 1910 or 1920 census. I did find Sophie Sudo, daughter of Victor and Annie, in the 1920 census for Bergan County. I found a World War II army enlistment for Michael J. Sumnick born in 1924 in New Jersey. Is this the son of your Michael and Sophie? If so this should narrow the marriage date of Michael and Sophie to the early 1920s. If they married in New Jersey, the state archives should have a record of this marriage. The marriage certificate will have the names of the parents.
