hi jean. it is a pleasure to meet you, sort of lol. i have been doing quite some research myself on the line and thought i traced it back to around the 1600s to a guy by the name of ascencio de archuleta who had a son juan andres or andres and he had a son bartolome... is this line sounding like the right line? i have a tree put together from what i have been able to piece together and also have a couple pretty good pics. would you mind collaberating with me on this? i have recently become very passionate about my family history. and to make things even more complicated i am related to a whole other set of archuletas from the pagosa/walsenburg/ taos, NM areas. my moms mom was maria antonia archuleta and she was the daughter of juan de dios and beatrice to answer that question. you can email me at
brian.albo@yahoo.com if you would like, i would truly appreciate any help in the matter! thank you so much. i am going to spain to study abroad and go to a school over there in the fall and was hoping to put together a family thing where i was able to trace our people back to the basque country, france and spain. thank you again i will eagerly be awaiting your reply!
