I am going to go out on a limb a little and say that I don't think that the Polifkas that you are looking for were in Raton in 1910, with the exception of the Leo that you mentioned.
Perhaps they were once in Raton but left for Watsonville CA
at some point? That would make perfect sense because many "Austrian" citizens settled there. However, it might pay to check the Baptisms from St Patrick in Raton. LDS Film

Karl L. Polifka was born 01 Dec 1910, died 01 July 1951, Graduated Watsonville High in 1929. I don't know where he was born - do you?
