Since my last post I've sorta firmed up on my project. My plan is to map the early settlers, starting from the beginning and working up 'til 1910 or so. It's been said that everybody in Lincoln Co. are cousins. I so far I haven't been disappointed.
I am working from the Manzano connection, which goes back to the beginning (1855ish). I am gathering as much as I can and making worksheets for each family, then I am putting them in a Gedcom file. It's a little ambitious and will take some time, but thats the fun of it.
Please consider sharing with me and as I gather stuff I'll be happy to share.
I have stuff and would like more stuff on Aldaz, Baca, Sedillo, Chavez, Gonzales, Guevara, Herrera, Lacey, Lalone/LaLone, Lucero, Maldonado Montoya, Padilla, Romero, Salazar, Sanchez, Torres, Vega and others. I'm no authority on any of it, except maybe my direct family.
I'd like to hear from you, Rich
