Someone's entry of a family tree states that he married on May 18,1963 in OK; you might go to familysearch.org and search their OK marriage records to find name of wife etc.

Benny was my Aunt and sister to my Dad Evaristo and to Anatalio.

Who do have as a father for Antonio Sanchez? I have never been able to find a baptism or marriage record that list him as a husband, or father to Felipe and Higinio. I would appreciate this information very much. Which of Veneranda's children are you married to - Tom, Gonzalo, or Umelio or Ernie? I think that we may have met once when we were in AZ at Tia Veneranda's house.

my first husband was William Chavez Brady. His father was a jr and had the same name, Making my husband the 4th or so. We had the book on Sheriff Brady But divorce and death and Now I dont know where it is> My son 32 years is William but doesnt carry the Chavez middle name William Chavez Brady born 6/15/43 and passed in 2003.

Thank all of you who searched. She was my Mother's sister's granddaughter. Would you believe all of that line is dead except three other granddaughters - and they know nothing. She has no aunts or uncles living. Her brother is dead also.
All I know is that her aunt and a second-cousin went to see Ann and her partner in Ruidoso years ago. Both those people are dead. I know she had cancer and that she died about the time the referenced aunt died.
The cousins never heard the name Pugh associated with her - and I don't know whether she would take the name of her partner or not....
But the birth date is correct for her. Again, thanks.

Hi there:

If you could locate an exact birth dae from a family member it might be easier to find her. There are tons of Ann Hunts, Annie Hunts, Anna Hunts out there. Maybe someone in the family knows where she died. Ruidoso does not have a cancer unit so she may have gone to Albuquerque. If you can, check with any and all family members to see if you can find some more info. Someone had to attend her funeral, plan it, pay for it, etc.

I have that Felipe was married to a Beatriz Sedillo and had 13 children with her, after being married to Miguela Lucero, who died giving birth to their only child Hilario Gomez. Miguela was sister to Victoriano Lucero who married Felipe's sister Guadalupe Gomez. Does this match what you have? I have their parents as Francisco Juan Gomez and Ygnacia Rodriguez. He was born in the early 1800s in Tularosa New Mexico. His First wife was Encancion Gonzales. They had two children. Jacobo Bueno Reyes and Benina (Americanized)Bueno Reyes. She went on to remarry a John L. Reyes they had Amilia Reyes and another child or more.

Marcos also went on and remarried. Wief Unknown, They had Jean, Felicita, Jose, Julian, Marcos, Verginia,and Maria Bueno.

I didn't find her in Ancestry, familysearch or findagrave.

New Mexico doesn't release death records until 50 years after the event. Their current Death Index ends at 1940.

You can go to usgwarchives.org/nm/nmdir.htm to find out about ordering a copy of her death certificate but I don't know if they'll let you purchase one since you're a second cousin.

I searched the Ruidoso Cemetery but didn't find her. I don't know if you'll find her in a cemetery index since her death is so recent. Here's a list of indexed cemeteries in Lincoln Co., http://nmahgp.genealogyvillage.com/lincoln/cemeteries.htm . I didn't look through every one.

Another source of death info is she was Catholic, is the local Catholic church. I'd do a Google search to find them. I wish I had a better answer for you. Successful Searching!

If you are unaware of it:
the "public member trees" on ancestry.com contain a very extensive tree of these families-with many photographs of nearly everyone, the obit of Polly, and other info.
Death certificates for David and Pollie,and her mother Diana Henderson, can be found here: http://genealogy.az.gov/ and possibly others as well.
Their headstone photos are on findagrave.com
Within that family tree on ancestry.com, there is a note written by Polly Henderson Edwards that says they were married on Jan.23,1876 in Kerrville,TX;moved to Lincoln,NM in 1880;lived there for 7 years,then moved to Greeley,CO-lived there for 4 years;moved to AZ in 1891 where they lived out their lives.

Hi, Regarding Dave (David) Edwards, he was on the 1880 census in NM but there is a 20 year gap in the censuses in which an ancestor can escape.
EDWARDS, DAVID; 48; Male; White; WALES
BERNALILLO County, Town GALLUP; 1900 census. He came to this county in 1878.
I can not know if this is your Dave, but a 1910 search might add some information.

Hello, and thank you so much for responding.
I'd seen mention of Penasco, but wasn't sure. The McDonald brothers, Andrew Cameron (Andy) and William Bell, were both in Pct 9 for the 1885 Census. I am fairly certain both were working as Ranchmen for a large cattle outfit and neither were likely property owners at the time. I and 2 other cousins are reconstructing the descendants of William Bell currently and I'm not sure we have the whole picture. I know neither the name of Gene McDonald, nor the Tiffin's you mention. We've got an idea of who William Bell's children are, but the next generation is a bit tougher to trace, especially when you are dealing with living descendants. If you have contact with Gene McDonald, you might send him my way to discuss a possible connection.

I consulted with a friend of mine who is knowledgeable in Lincoln County geography and people. This is his response:
Pct 9 seems to be the Penasco / Seven Rivers area that became a part of Eddy Co a few years later.

I know that one of the enumerated Coe families lived in that area.

If you are related to the McDonald's of Lincoln County do you know Gene McDonald who is related to the Tiffin's? He lives in California now.
