Edward Muniz Sr., 71, was held Saturday, March 11,2000 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Churxch with Father Diego Mazon officating. Burial at the Hillcrest Cemetry in Gallup.
Muniz, Sr. died March 4, 2000 in Gallup. He was born Dec. 28, 1928 in Gallup.
He was a member of the V.F.W., Fraternal Order of Police and Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his son, Edward Muniz, Jr. of Glenwood Springs, CO; daughter, Diane Muniz of Gallup; sisters, Helen Archibeque, Minnie Montoya and Isabel Rangel all of Bernalillo, NM: five grand children; and five great-grandchildren.
Muniz, Sr. was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Muniz; daughter, Patricia Muniz; parents, Julio and Rosa Muniz; brother, David Muniz; and sister, Margaret Crespin. Rollie Mortuary
