If it may help you:
The 1930 Los Angeles census shows:
Ayala,F.Epifanio-33;married at 23;born Mexico,parents same;immigrated 1906;works for the RR
wife-Pilar-29;married at 19;born NM,parents same
daughter-Stella-8;born CA
son-Albert-7;born CA
son-R.Gilbert-5;born CA
mother in law-Candelaria,Cipriana-60;married at 18;born NM
sister in law-Harris,Mary-26;married at 21;born NM

So, if we take the name of her mother and sister,in 1920 Los Angeles we find Sipriana Candelaria with her daughters Pilar and Mary.

I think that, Pilar's father was Casimero Candelaria-based on the 1900 La Luz census, with wife Sipriana, and at the time had sons Jose,Florenza/Florencio,and Casimero.(Florencio Candelaria died in CA in 1956-mother's maiden name Lopez;Otero Co.,NM birth records give same-father Casimero Candelaria, mother Sipriana Lopez)

Casimero Candelaria was the son of Jose Cadelario and Pilar Gonzales; Jose died sometime between 1870-1880;in 1880 Pilar was married to Florencio Luna,(she is listed with her maiden name in that year, is how I came about that)and has sons Andres Candelaria age 22 and Casimero Candelaria age 16. In the 1900 census,Pilar states that she had 2 children, and only one is living.

Ferman Epifanio Ayala lives with his brother's family in 1910 Los Angeles. When he registered for the WWI draft in 1917,he states that he is married. By the 1920 census,he still lives with his brother, but states that he is widowed. So thee was another wife before Pilar.
When he filed his declaration of intent to become a citizen in 1926,he said that he had been born in Abasolo,Mexico, and had immigrated from Juarez,Mexico via train, to El Paso,TX in Aug.of 1907. Wife's name given as Pilar Ayala, who was born in Alamogordo,NM.
Epifanio was born Apr.7,1895,and died Jan.16,1969 in CA;mother's maiden name given as Vasquez
