It is interesting to see that your McCormick was born in Indiana Co., PA. My McEwens are from Indiana Co., PA originally. I am wondering if they knew each other. Dr. Ora McEwen migrated to NM in the late 1899 and was the first elected superintendent of schools in San Juan County. He was also a physician in Farmington. I will ask my mother if she knows anything about McCormicks.
