Another researcher just shared with me an article written about my Walker family in TX. It claims that Sarah Ann (Annie) Walker, who married M. R. Stocking August 16, 1891, possibly in Montague Co., TX, resided in Farmington, NM in the early to mid-1900's. Her sister, Mary Dove Walker Shelby, is supposed to have come out to live with her in the 1930's, and died there in the 1950's. Annie was b. Feb. 8, 1870 in Cass Co., TX, and Mary Dove September 5, 1868 in AR or TX. They were the daughters of Asher Walker and Nancy Ann Johnson from AR. Their younger brother, Perry Asher Walker, was my g-grandfather. Any information about this family would be appreciated.
