Hi all,

I have a record of marriage (attached) from May 27th 1901 between Francisco Gonzales and Ramonsita Ortega. The marriage occurred in the Cathedral and was presided over by the Very Rev. Anthony Forchegu.

I'm interested in finding Ramonsita's parents and am having a difficult time doing so. So, looking at the record and notice, as far as I know, the four witnesses and sponsors are not related to the bride and groom. Why do you think that would be? I am trying very hard to find Ramonsita's parents, particularly her mother, and was hoping their names would be somewhere on the certificate. By the way, the witnesses were Triniidad Urioste and Cifriano (Cipriano?)Rodriguez. The sponsors were Juan C. Martinez and Mauricia Dominguez

Any suggestions?
