Still looking for Rosario Romero in Taos

Posted: 2 May 2004 10:49PM GMT
Rosario Romero, subject of book "Enchanted Temples of Taos; My Story or Rosario" by Dora Ortiz Vasques.
Rosario was born a Navajo approx. 1812. She along with her daughter, Soledad, was captured in an indian raid and lived in the home of Padre Juan Antonio Martinez until his death c. 1870.
I have found Rosario in Ocate (Mora) New Mexico on the 1900, 1910 & 1920 Federal census. She died in Ocate in 1930.
I am anxious to find her in Taos but so far I have been unsuccessful. In particular, I'm interested in knowing who the father of her children, Jose Domingo Romero, Jose Jr. and Albino was.
I'm certain that some of the Taos genealogy experts can help!
In advance, Thank you
Tom Cochran
