Look for L. E. Wille
I am looking for information about a WWII Air Force Staff Sargent named L. E. Wille. We have a photograph that was sent to my grandmother by him along with pictures and other draws he drew during the war. His photograph was taken in New Orleans in 1943, but the address on the envelope says Clovis, New Mexico. We think he might have worked on the supply trains.
If anyone can help it would be wonderful. My grandmother would never talk about him and when asked about the photograph she told my mother to just put it away. We would like to know who this mystery man was and why my grandmother wouldn't talk about him.
