I have inherited a little black book from my father that lists the parents of his father as George Harrison St. John born March 8, 1834 in Allegany County New York and his wife as Josephine Amanda Stockwell born February 18, 1836 in Sheldon, New York. They are both buried in the Riley Township Cemetary in Mchenry County, Illinois. George H. St. John's father is listed as Josiah St. John born in 1806 place unknown and his mother as Mary Adams St. John vorn in 1812. They also are buried in the cemetary in Illinois. Does anyone out there have any information on these people?
