Am seeking info on Rufus King FARR b.1816 Vermont and Fidelia PHELPS b.1825 "NYS".They had eight children; Grace FARR-SMITH, Solomon, Anna FARR-BROWN-COYKENDALL, Sylvester, Daniel, Rufus, Laura FARR-HAGGERTY (my gr-grandmother) and Helen FARR-SUTTON. I have no information on Rufus King FARR and his wf Fidelia PHELPS other than the fact that I found them on an 1850 Census in Cohocton (Steuben), in 1860 they had moved to Grove (Allegany) and in 1870 (Rufus was not listed and I assume he died circa 1867/8) the family was listed in Swain (Allegany). Tradition has it that both King FARR and Fidelia PHELPS-FARR died in Swain. I tried
to get a copy of the "Inscriptions from Old Gravestones, Boyd Hill Cemetery, Swain, Allegany C ounty, New York by Wilma B lakley Abplanalp from the LDS Library in Salt Lake City but they could not make copies of the three pages that comprise this document. Does anyone know of this document and if so please let me! know via email. I would like to know if the FARRs are possibly buried there. And where is Boyd Hill Cemetery? Thanks for any help.
