Hi Pamela,
First of all, let me say that I have a lot of Cattaraugus County ancestors, but I'm not local to that area, so I can't help you much. Your post caught my eye because I'm familiar with Philander and Lewis Beach, but have never come to any conclusion as to whether they were related or not. I will watch this thread closely, because there may be someone who has done more Beach research than I have, that already knows your answer.
If you are interested in a researcher local to Cattaraugus, I can give you the name and email address of someone who is very good and lives in that area. She has helped me immensely with my various Cattaraugus and Wyoming County ancestors.
Having said that, I have a vested interested in Philander and Lewis Beach, as my Worden and Whiting females married them. I have not heard ofyour Zylpha Beach before, but again, I have not done any Bishop research. She might very well be related to Philander and/or Lewis Beach.
I hope you get a reply, as your question has peaked my curiosity. Good luck in your research.
