Surnames: Bishop Troop Brainard
Hello. My Martin Bishop is also the son of Ira Bishop and Olive TROOP. How are are related to him? I'm the desendant of his daughter, Ruth Bishop BRAINARD.
Martin Bishop b. abt. 1802 in Canada. He married Zylpha before 1827. I did find an article in Cattaraugus Republican said a Martin Bishop died March 16, 1876 in the house of his son that lived in Machias, New York. He was 72 years old. I think this is the same person.
