Hi Charlene,
I'm related to some of the Gallets family through a marriage of Mary Ann Gallets (born 5.18.1855, dau of Jacob Linsey Gallets, Sr.). She married Phillip Joseph Geise in 1872. My grandmother was a Geise, Phillip would have been my g-g-grandfather.
You might want to try to contact Joan Boser at the Gallets House B&B. I've been there a few times talking to her. She has a very large collection of photos, newpaper clippings, etc. on the Gallets ancestors. Her husband, Gary, is related to the Gallets.
I will send you a .pdf file of what I have on the Gallets name to your email address.
