NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Eleanor M. Hanigan, 76, died Thursday (Sept. 19, 2002) in North FORT MYERS. She was born May 24, 1926, in Falconer, the daughter of George and Nellie Rice Clyde. While living in the Jamestown area she was employed by the White Front Restaurant as a waitress. She had been a member of Jamestown Moose Lodge. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hanigan; a daughter, Dawn Erickson of Jamestown; two sons: the Rev. Dr. Douglas Penhollow of Tampa, Fla., and Dennis Penhollow of Greenhurst; a stepdaughter, Roseann Hanigan of Naples, Fla.; 17 grandchildren: Kellie Bielata, John Jr. and Roy Erickson, Nichole Anderson, Ronelle and Dennis Penhollow II, all of Jamestown, Kimberly Schroder of Lutz, Fla., Robert Erickson of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., James Erickson of Salt Lake City, Dawn White, April Morgan and Theodore Penhollow II, all of Albany, Ga., Douglas Penhollow II and Darren Trow, both of Tampa, Kelly Coolley of Gulf Port, Fla., James Trow of Plant City, Fla., and Lanette Stodart of Houtzdale, Pa.; 35 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Theodore Penhollow. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Douglas Penhollow will officiate. Inurnment will be in Lake View Cemetery. No visitation will be observed. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Chautauqua County.
