Porter’s (4th Hampshire Co.) regt.; list of officers of Mass. Militia; commissioned July 4, 1778; also, 1st Lieutenant, Capt. John Thompson’s (5th) co., 4th Hampshire Co. regt.; list of officers of Mass militia [year not given]; also, Lieutenant, 5th co., Col. Elisha Porter’s regt.; list of officers whose resignations were accepted in Council April 18, 1780, for the good of the service.

COWDEN, GEORGE. Lieut. James Halbert’s co., Col. Elisha Porter’s regt; enlisted July 10, 1777; discharged Aug. 12, 1777; service 1 mo. 9 days, travel included, at Saratoga. Roll dated Pelham.
