AVON PARK, Fla. - Lucy I. Hathaway, 86, of Avon PARK, formerly of Clymer, died Monday (Nov. 3, 2003) in Sebring, Fla.
She was born April 12, 1917, in Clymer, the daughter of John William and Jennie Dunnewold Wiggers.
She had worked with her husband on their dairy farm on the Town Line Road, Clymer. She had also worked in the Dutch Village Restaurant and the Clymer Central School. While in Florida, she had worked for the Citrus Packing Plant in Sebring and the Copper Kettle Restaurant in Avon PARK. She was a member of the Union Congregational Church, Avon PARK, She is survived by a daughter, Linda H. Currie of Atlanta; a step-son, Raymond Hathaway Jr. of Fayetteville, N.C.; a brother, John William Wiggers of North East, Pa.; and a sister, Mabel Kooman of Sebring
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hathaway Sr., who died in 1980; two brothers: James Wiggers in 1956 and Cornelius Wiggers in 1964; and a sister, Bernice TeCroney in 2003.
Burial will be in Holland Cemetery
