Pelagia is my g. g. grandmother, her son Paul is my G. grandfather. Rumor has it that Pelagia and her sister (name unknown) were servants in Prussia to the Whilhelm family and both got pregnant, by a member of the royal family. Stanishlaw (Stanish) married her and adopted Paul, this was all done in Prussia. I can't seem to locate any records. That would have been a shameful thing so they may be buried deep.
My second cousin Diane supposedly has the whole story and won't share it, because she paid a lot of money to have this researched. I don't have a lot of money, so I'm trying to do this in an affordable way. I have already found out that Standish (1867-1909), Pelagia (1862-1948) came over in 6-13-1892, with Paul (1887-1977). They lived in Dunkirk, NY. Paul and Pelagia are buried in St. Hyacynths, in Dunkirk, NY.

Paul moved to Detroit I do not know when. He was married to Martha, she died after my grandpa Joseph was born, Remarried and had Helen and Edward.

Joseph married Jane. Children are Paul, Joseph, Maryanne, Valentina, Ellen, Gregory, Gerard (Jerry). All from Detroit, Mi
