If you have the names of their children it might be helpful.

I just found this which I believe is pointing me in the right direction but I'm having difficulty understanding exactly what this is telling me:

Fredenburgh, Elias or Elias Fridenburg, or Fredenburg or Friedenburg, R3804, NY Line, appl 13 Feb 1833 Chenango Co NY aged 84 a res of Bainbridge NY, sol lived at Ancrom in Livingston's Manor in Dutchess Co NY at enl & in 1821 moved to Milford in Otsego Co NY & in 1832 moved to Bainbridge NY, sol was b 20 Feb 1749 at said Ancram (sic) in Livingston's Manor in Dutchess Co NY, a son Gideon Freedenburgh made aff'dt 19 Dec 1853 at Bainbridge NY as one of the sol's surviving children (others not named).
