Amanda Pease is my 4th great grandmother. Amanda was born in 1777 somewhere in Connecticut. She must have removed with her family to the Canaan and New Lebanon, Columbia County, NY area as a child. In 1795 she married Daniel Wheeler, born 1771, Canaan, Columbia County, NY. They were married in Canaan, Columbia County, NY. Daniel Wheeler parent’s were Edward Wheeler and Thankful Crippen of Canaan, Columbia County, NY.
