The attached picture found in the town of Asperg in the district of Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany by a relative of mine in her house is searching for the family it came from. The picture must have been taken in the 1880s and includes people who wear the traditional Swabian hats of their homeland. I don't know how far from Buffalo beer from the Kaltenbach brewery was sold but I suspect it was mostly in the local area. The picture shows what may have been a general store or bar but was probably also a farm. Whoever is in the picture must have sent it home to the relatives in Asberg. Maybe someone can ID it?
