That forum just closed at end of Dec 2012.
Their forum was kind of buried on the site - not easy to find and very slow to navigate.
Mostly due to inactivity and their desire for better system.
They suggest using alternative sites that are spin offs from them & their users, found
on the social networking sites like facebook & the like, google and wiki.
Their techs are working on it - so we'll see what the future holds.
These sites aren't really for research they are more for the volunteers that index &
arbitrate records for familysearch.
One of the forum managers made a very good alternative forum and went through
a ton of trouble to transfer data from old familysearch forum to her new forum so
that the information would be saved and accessible.
I rarely had need to post because somebody else had already done so & I was
able to find the answer to my question.
Apparently many indexers didn't even know about the forums.
Disappointing for those of us that index/arbitrate records for them and don't use
any of the social network sites.
