Surnames: Blanchard, Corbier, Hyatt
Are these folks related to William Blanchard of Putnam, b. about 1800?
I am trying to locate the parents of Alfred J. "Fred" Blanchard, who was a blacksmith in Ticonderoga, b. abt 1830 and died in 1901. His wife was Mary R. Hyatt, b. abt 1833, d. 1909.
I think Fred was born in Lacolle just north of the border to William Blanchard and Sophie Corbier. William lists his birth place as the US, though he lived in Canada most of his life, dying at 91 yrs old in 1890 in Lacolle. There is a William born abt 1800 in Putnam
