Surnames: Dibble, Young
I am currently researching the William DIBBLE family of Franklin County, New York. He first appears in the 1850 Census as William Dible, married to a Catherine, with no children. By the time of the 1860 Census, he is still married to Catherine, with five (5) children: Sarah (9), Caroline (7), Robert (6), William (4), and Thomas (2). The family again appears in the 1870 Census, only this time he is married to an Elizabeth TIBO of Canada, with the following children: Phebe(7), Joseph (6), Eliza (4), and Addie (2).

Though not listed in the 1870 census, Willam had a son, James, b. Aug 1870, who married and Ida Young. They had four children: Samuel Joseph (my grandfather), Frank, Rose, and James H.

The Dibble line is very elusive and I've been stuck for several years. Any information on William DIBBLE, particularly his parents, or anyone else in this line, would be greatly appreciated. I will share what information I have with anyone interested.
