I know we have connections and I'm willing to work on them as I live right here in Fulton co., NY

I'll give you what I have found so far:

From "History of Fulton co." by Frothingham

McQueen, James M., Perth was born in the house of his present residence, September 11, 1822. Joseph McQueen was born in the same house on the McQueen homestead farm, Decem b22, 1824, these two brothers were sons of John McQueen who came to this country from Perthsire Scotland in 1795 in company with his cousin Archibald. when they settled in the section they cleared together the farm they bought in the wilderness, each built a log house and John occupied his after his marrieage to Ann Major, daughter of John Major of Galway, Saratoga co. on May 17, 1803. He remained on this palce and worked it until 1815, when he built the large frame house now called the "Old John McQueen Homestead" near the original log house. He was the father of nine children. Three are living, these tow brothers and their sister, Jeanette, now Mrs. Daniel Potter, of gloversville, born Jan 1, 1819. A cousin of theirs Ellen McQueen, is the housekeeper. she came to this country in 1879 from Sterlingshire, Scotland.

McQueen, John C. of Perth, Fulton Co., was born in the town of Amsterdam Aug 19, 1812 a son of Archibald and Jeannetee (McKinley) McQueen. Archibald died in 1849 leaving him the old homestead farm which he kept until 1862 when he bought the old leffer farm. Nov 6, 1862 he married Ellen Robb dau. of James and Mary (Carmicheal) Robb.

McQueen, William J. of Perth was born in the town of Amsterday, Dec. 18, 1825 son of Archibald and Ann (Alexander) McQueen. Archibald was born in Pershire Scotland in 1777 and came to this country when he was twenty years old and settled in Amsterdam buying land in its original condidtion and with his cousin John McQueen built log cabins and then frame houses. Archibald married in 1807 Jeanette McKinley who was the mother of two shilcren: John C. Mcqueen listed above and Jeanette McQueen Donnan. In 1825 he married May Wilson: she died in four years leaving one child Margaret McQueen Walker. His third wife was Ann Alexander and they have two shilrend Ruth A. Mcqueen and William J. Mr. sArchibald McQueen died April 1, 1880 age 85. Archibald died in 1849 William married Nettie Speir on Jan 27, 1857. She was the dau of George and Elizabeth (Donnan) Speir. They have two children Archie and George S.

If you notice it doesn't say who the father of James McQueen was. It also doesn't give any of James or Archibald's brothers and sisters!

However, I'm sure your Thomas fits in here some place. I'll try to find wills (they had land and money so I'm sure there are some). Censuses won't help us until 1850. I'll also try gravesites. I'll also try Naturalization papers.
