I am looking for Elizabeth Jennet McKinley Buchanan (born 1788 in Vermont) wife of John L. Buchanan, Mother of Andrew, Alexander,William, Emmaline, and Sarrah M.. They resided in Fulton County, Mayfield and are listed in the 1860 US census. John died in 1878 (buried along the trail in what is now Fowler, Indiana while traveling to Ida Grove, Iowa with son Andrew). There is no record of Elizabeth traveling west so the presumption is she died in New York before the family left. She is my Great Great Great Great Grandmother and I would appreciate any help the anyone could give in finding her final resting place.I can be reached at dbuchanan51@aol.com
