Lawrence E. Smith, 79, of 5866 Hillside Drive, owner of Northern Travel Bureau, died Tuesday afternoon at his home after a short illness.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Cummings Funeral Home, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. John Hunt, pastor, officiating. The homilist will be the Rev. Pierre Aubin, pastor of St. Mary's Church, Evans Mills. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
