A joint obituary follows for Mary Bonacci Morgan and her daughter, Ida Bonacci Lytle.
MOTHER AND DAUGHTER DIE
They Pass Away Within Ten Hours
Of Each Other.
Mrs. Ida May Lytle, wife of Charles D. Lytle, died at the family home, 811 Mill street at 10:30 Tuesday night following a short illness of influenza and pneumonia, aged 26 years. She was taken ill last Monday with influenza and got out of bed too soon afterward. She suffered a relapse and passed away Tuesday night.
Her mother, Mrs. Mary Bonacci Morgan of 877 Mill street who was taken ill one day after the daughter, died this morning at 8:30, ten hours after the daughter passed away.
Mrs. Lytle was born in this city, November 22, 1892, daughter of the late Stephen and Mrs. Mary Bonacci. She spent the greater part of her life in this city. Following her marriage March 18, 1911, she and her husband moved to Oswego, but returned to this city four years ago where they had since resided. Mr. Lytle is a machinist.
Besides her husband, Charles D. Lyle (sic), she leaves four children, Rose, aged 6; Grace, aged 5; Mabel, aged 3; Charles, jr., aged 2. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Rose Farone of this city, a half sister, Mrs. May (sic) Belrose of Oswego, and three half brothers, Daniel La Lone of Carthage, and Joseph and Myron La Lone of this city. Her mother was married three times.
The funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Mrs. Mary Bonacci Morgan, widow of Briscoe Morgan, died at 8:30 this morning at the family home, 877 Mill street, following a week's illness of influenza and pneumonia, aged 65 years. She had been critically ill during the past three days and it was known that she would not survive. She was taken ill a day after her daughter was stricken.
She was born in Carthage, March 8, 1853, but had spent the greater part of her life in this city. She was married three times, first to Luke La Lone, who died many years ago, second to Stephen Bonacci, and third to Briscoe Morgan, all of whom are dead.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Rose Farone of this city and Mrs. May (sic) Belrose of Oswego, and three sons, Daniel La Lone of Carthage, and Joseph and Myron La Lone, both of this city, also one brother, Gabriel Pecor of Rochester, a half brother, Jerome Lozo, of this city, who is blind, and three sisters, Mrs. Celia Staie of Potsdam; Mrs. Agnes Besaw, of Copenhagen, and Mrs. Julia North of Carthage.
The funeral arrangements for the mother and daughter are not yet complete. It is likely that a joint funeral service will be held for both.
Note: Mary's maiden name was Pecor; she was the daughter of Gabriel and Angeline LaGrow Pecor, of Clayton and Canada.
