Thelma G.Jennette expires at age 76

Clayton-Mrs.Thelma G. Jennette of 4451 West Rd.R.D.5 Cortland,formerly of Clayton and Mahopac,died Weds in Cortland.
The funeral will be 9;30a.m.Saturday at the Cummings Funeral Home,and 10 oclock at St.Marys'Church.Burial will be at St.Marys'Cemetery Clayton.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 at the Funeral home.
Surviving are a son Robert Jennette,Pittsford;a daughter Mrs.Theodore(Sharleen)Carloni,Cortland;a sister Mrs.Ellen C.Denno,Watertown;seven grandchildren,and three nieces and a nephew.
She was born Jan. 3 1906 in Clayton the daughter of Amos and Helen Peilon LaLonde.
She was graduated from Clayton high School,Clayton Training Class,and Potsdam Normal School.She was married to H.E.Jennette in Jan.1932,who died.
She was a teacher and taught last in Putnam Valley School,retiring in 1969.She was a member of N.Y.State retired Teachers Association,and retired teachers of Putnam Valley Central School.
