Surnames: Miller, Gillette
Sorry for the long delay in response.
Boney was a nickname. His real name was George and was born in 1831 (Bavaria) and died 1906 in Depauville.
I don't have a record of a daughter named Mary. Doesn't mean that there isn't one, just that I don't have a record of one and my mother-in-law doesn't remember a great aunt by that name.
The 1880 census that I found does say adopted daughter for Sarah.
I just rediscovered a newspaper clipping from the Watertown Daily Times (May 11, 1906)...Mr. and Mrs. Clint Gillette and daughter, Ethel, and Mrs. Hiram Gillette and Gladys of Lafargeville attended the funeral of Boney Miller yesterday. The funeral was largely attended.
