I am trying to determine if the Norwegian Hospital, located in Brooklyn in the 1920's is still in existance. If not, does anyone know where their records would have gone? My gr uncle died there around 1920 & I am trying to find a record of his death. The hospital was noted in the news story of his death.

""FALL THROUGH HATCHWAY KILLS RIVETER ON SHIP - Charles Kelly, 35 years old, a riveter, of 461 Forty-third street, while working on the deck of the steamship Florence Luckenbach at the foot of Twenty-seventh street, fell through an open hatchway last night and was instantly killed. Kelly was formerly known as the champion bag puncher of the world, having been in vaudeville for a number of years with his brothers, John and George, doing a bag punching specialty.

He is survived by his widow Charlotte, and a three-year-old daughter, Agnes. Dr. Grieves, of Norwegian Hospital, said death was due to a fractured skull."
