My great-grandparents John and Elizabeth Daly are buried in Holy Cross (1918 and 1937) and I suspect even John´s parents as well. They are listed on his death certificate as James and Margaret Daly.I find Margaret and her son in the 1880 Census at 274-19th Street, but Margaret is gone by 1900.There is a Margaret Daly with a death certificate (July 27, 1899 at the age of 70 )nr 13028 in Brooklyn who may be the right one but I have not seen the document. If anyone out there is in the municipal archives and check the death certificate for any clues I would be most appreciative.
My real hope however is that whoever has the listing for Holy Cross can check out if a Margaret Murray Daly and a James Daly are to be found in the same grave - and if anyone else is buried there.
