Oh the joys of Google! I put in search "D. Lansing Lambert"
(with quote marks), and got 10 hits, the 2 most important as follows:

From NY Times, on DIED list, pub. 9/4/1861 for Caroline (Lansing's 1st wife), who died 9/3/1861 :

DIED

LAMBERT - In Brooklyn, on Tues. morning, Sept.3rd, Caroline Gardiner, wife of D.Lansing Lambert. The funeral will take place from her late residence, Clinton ave. near Gates ave., on Thurs. 5th inst. at 3 P.M.

From the Brooklyn Standard Union (as shown on the great bklyn-genealogy-info.com site) :

published Sept. 26, 1863

LAMBERT-BOVEY - In Bath,Me., on Thursday Sept.24th, by Rev. E. Whittlesey. D.Lansing LAMBERT, of this city to Ann K., daughter of John BOVEY,Esq. of the former place.

You should google as I did, and check it all out.

Kit -in cool, gorgeous N.H.
