Catholic churches in the Sands Street area (near the Brooklyn Navy Yard)

Classification: Query
Surnames: McLoughlin, Reynolds
I am researching my grandmother's family (McLoughlin) that lived in Brooklyn from 1887 until 1904. In the 1888-89 Brooklyn Street Directory Francis McLoughlin and his wife Isabella (Reynolds) were living on Sands Street, near the Brooklyn Navy Yard. By 1900 the family had moved to Quincy Street. My grandmother, Marie, was the youngest of their six children...she was born in 1900. I have a baptismal record for her from Our Lady of Good Counsel, but have been unable to locate baptismal certificates for her five siblings. I know that the oldest child (Joseph b. 1888) would have been baptized in a church close to where they were living at that time on Sands Street.

Is anyone familiar with Catholic parishes in that part of Brooklyn? Would love to make contact with someone who is familiar with Catholic parishes in general as I have not had much luck on my own!

Many thanks!
