Hi!
If you have looked at the Livingston County Forum at all you will see I keep letting people know if their family surnames are located in the book "1808-1908 Centennial History of the Town of Nunda" by H. Wells Hand and well your surname MILLIMAN is in there.

On pages 117, 579, 584 you will find Gardner Milliman mentioned and Ida M. Milliman on pg. 173 and Mark Milliman on 118.

On page 117 it says that Mary Jane Passage daughter of David and Orpha Havens married Gardner Milliman and Gardner Milliman was a soldier in Nunda who died in service he was in the 22nd New York. Mark was their son.

Pg. 579 is an alphabetical list of soldiers from Nunda where Gardner is listed as infantry 22nd NY

On page 173 it has Ida M. Milliman married to Frank A. Gearhart, born in 1853; this is under a section called SPENCER FAMILY OF PORTAGE-NUNDA.

I hope this helps you out!

Sandra
