Just an FYI to all those who post messages to this or other message boards. I discovered after my last post that if you click on my username to contact me, a message pops up saying that I've chosen to hide my contact information (I've done no such thing) and that in order to contact me you must subscribe to an ancestry service for a minimum fee. I had to sign into my account and find a marketing preferences page and select a box that allows my e-mail address to be shown to those who wish to contact me regarding a post. This must be a brand new feature. Unfortunately, although it may result in some revenue/subscriptions for ancestry.com, I think it will drive away many who freely share their information with us on these boards.
