I was so excited to see your post! John Friedrich Doerich's sister was Christina Sophia Doerich who is my great grandmother. They immigrated to the U.S. about 1890 from Gosheim, Karlsruhe, Baden-Wuttemberg, Germany. They came with their parents,Johann Doerich and Christina Rosina Bimmler Doerich. They settled in Rochester, New York. Christina married Arthur Jason Allen and they had two sons (one is my grandfather), both who are still living. Christina Rosina Bimmler's parents were Friedrich Bimmler and Elisabetha Lepp (last name possible Greil according to different records). She had five siblings -- Friedrich, Rosina, Johann Freidrich, Elisabetha (Elizabeth), and Johann Christian. Rosina (Rose), Johann Christian, and Elisabetha all immigrated to the US and settled in the Rochester area. Rosina married John Lindenberg, Elizabeth married Adam John Keehn, and Joahnn married Rosa Palm. Our family records show that Johann Friedrick Doerich married Mary Bildstien. He died 24 Oct 1957. This would be your grandfather. Your father would be my grandfather's first cousin.

I also found that Johann Doerich's (John F. Doerich's father) father was Joahann Doerich born abt 1824 in Badden-Wuttemberg, Germany. His mother was Rosina, but I have not found a maiden name. He had 6 siblings -- Rosina, Elisabetha, Friedrich, William, Edward, and Louis. I don't have any birthdates or further information about any of them. I don't know if any of them ever immigrated to the US.
