Old Fulton doesn't have any Rochester papers that go up to 1982 so no obit to be found there; just the announcements of the birth of each the two sons in the family.
I linked through on the library site but the fee is well beyond what I can afford.
The cost per obit is $15 for a copy.
If anyone local to Rochester has access to the issues of the newspaper "DC" which I think I figured out are the initials for a Rochester paper called the Democrat & Chronicle or the "TU" newspaper which I means The Rochester Times Union" on microfilm and can make a copy/transcript of the referenced obit:
STRUEVER, CARL C., JR. N/A DC/TU 3/19/1982
...my request still stands. The library's fee of $15 for a photocopy pulled from the archived microfilm is too rich for my budget.
