The city of Rochester has put their marriages online for free:

It's not at all unusual for German names to appear in different spellings. And "Prussia" was an overarching Germanic area going all the way from the French border to the Russian one. It seems as if this family was from Mecklenburg-Schwerin.
Check the city directories at http://www3.libraryweb.org/lh.aspx?id=1105, and the old time newspaper index at: http://www3.libraryweb.org/lh.aspx?id=963, and also the free web site www.fultonhistory.com
